CTCAM is more than a slicer, it adds in process machining capability. The software was developed to allow us to fine tune the Laser and milling toll paths in addition to electron beam specific melting functions. The user can chose between between different materials and machines. CTCAM requires a machine specific file containing the dynamic characteristics of each axis. This allows us to recalculate every trajectory in order to maintain the line energy required to produce high quality parts.
